I went to Barcelona last Friday, and now I am back. I had the most amazing, fantastic time there! I felt happy and chilled out and very content and that feeling has come back with me.
I shall write more about it later, but for now I just want to leave you guys with one image to ponder:
The Boosh in Barcelona?
This guy was a street performer on Las Ramblas in the centre of Barcelona: there are many such performers along there doing their acts and tricks in return for loose change, and we got our photos taken with quite a few!
Anita thought he looked fantastic and really wanted her photo taken with him despite the fact that most of the other people around us didn't want to go within five feet of him. I think he looks like he's escaped from the Mighty Boosh - actually, he looks scarily like Noel Fielding under all that green makeup. Boosh fans, what do you think?

This was the sky the other night, taken from our east-facing half landing window. Has anyone else ever seen anything like it? The sun had gone down already, so it wasn't like it was light shining from the west towards the clouds. It was really strange ... the photo's come out really grainy but pretty dramatic all in all, but the camera hasn't picked out the hues of green that were in the photo. It was like the Aurora Borealis in the clouds or something - really beauti
Amecon Report: Photos!
I didn't take a lot of photos at Amecon - Oz did though, using my camera. ^_^ He took loads of the Masquerade, mixed quality but there's a lot there!
Browse through them here. There's a few of the Trinity Blood group, a couple of Donna's Castlevania costume and Eli's Serina costume. Also a couple of good shots of Mark's Solid Snake ("No, it can't be!!") before and during the Masquerade, and random candid and group shots.
Heck, just browse through them and see all the stunning costumes. ^_^ I've created this flickr account in the hope that it'll help me share my photos in future (the Java photo upload tool on Facebook never works for me) and

I kinda want to shout this one from the rooftops. ^_^ I feel so many things on graduation ... a huge sense of achievement, of pride for myself and my friends, and of loss - I've been through three years at university and now here I am on the other side of it and it's all behind me now.
But I mostly feel incredibly chuffed. ^_^

Expressing Creativity vs. Protecting Privacy
I just updated my new writing blog over on LiveJournal, and it got me thinking about privacy and creativity.
I consider myself to be a creative person. I like to draw, make things, cosplay, write stories and the occasional poem, and I spend a lot of time *thiking* about creative things. I know that a lot of you on my flist are the same.
So, here's an question to you all: where do you draw the line between showing off your creative achievements, and protecting your privacy and your ownership of what you've created?
I know people who have had their creative endeavours ripped off by con-artists, copycats and generally unoriginal people who th
